Nominasi kategori itu di antaranya, 'Best Male Artist,' 'Best Female Artist,' 'Best New Male Artist,' 'Best New Female Artist,' 'Best Male Group,' 'Best Female Group,' dan masih banyak lagi.
 
Untuk kategori 'Worldwide Fans' Choice TOP 10' juga ditambahkan untuk tahun kedua.

'2022 Mnet Asian Music Awards' merupakan penghargaan popularitas yang semata-mata mencerminkan suara penggemar K-pop global karena merekalah yang akan menentukan untuk terpilih menjadi nominasi dan menjadi pemenangnya.
